As a family run, local business, we hold Calgary very close to our hearts and care deeply for our community. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many charities, non-profit and community organizations have had to close their spaces. When our team saw the need in Calgary’s charitable society, it became very important for us to give back and bring some brightness, colour, and positivity to our community. Calgary is our home and our clients are our family so we want to do everything we can to help. Our team wanted to give back by doing what we do best, using paint to create colourful spaces.
The Urban Painter is proud to launch its Paint4Good project on April 28th, 2020! We will be partnering with Benjamin Moore Canada to give back to the Calgary community with $50,000 worth of free painting services. The Paint4Good campaign wants to give back to these organizations and brighten their empty spaces so they are refreshed and ready to inspire when people are able to return to them.
Now, you may be wondering how we are selecting recipients for this campaign. The program is based on applications from Calgary-based charities, religious spaces, non-profits organizations, and community spaces that could use a fresh coat of paint. The spaces must be accessible with social distancing measures in place. Ten recipients will be selected through an internal voting system to receive $5,000 worth of free painting services. Projects will be completed in the month of May and Early June 2020 and will follow strict social distancing guidelines.
As excited as our team is about this project, we can’t do it without you! We need your help to get our message into the Calgary community so we can help those who may need a fresh coat of paint and a little bit of colour to brighten their spaces.
